CURRENT GROUPS

EVENING MEN’S GROUP
Meeting Tuesdays at 6:30pm

How are you doing… really? If you are tired of giving — and getting — that reflexive “Fine, and you?” response, then this group is for you. Break through the loneliness and isolation so many of us feel by connecting with other men on a meaningful level. In our supportive small group we talk about issues ranging from relationship challenges to making friends to finding more meaning and purpose in our lives. We also have some laughs while sharing helpful tips and life lessons we’ve learned.

In group you will have a chance to:

  • Talk about thought-provoking topics and questions
  • Give and receive helpful feedback
  • Learn useful tools for personal growth

In the supportive company of other guys you will strengthen your abilities to:

  • Accept yourself for who you are while continuing to improve
  • Communicate thoughts and feelings effectively
  • Identify greater personal meaning and purpose
  • Set and achieve goals related to your values
  • Make and keep healthy friends
  • Deepen intimate relationships

If you are ready to stop feeling so disconnected, contact me to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to talk more about the group and how to join.

ABOUT GROUP THERAPY

“What’s wrong with me?”

When it comes to personal struggles and life challenges, it’s easy to think you’re the only one in that spot.

This self-imposed exile can lead to confusion, frustration, worry, and even embarrassment.

One of the most basic and powerful forces of groups is the experience of not being alone in any of it.

“Wait, I’m not the only one?”

It’s easy to “know” this in theory. You probably “get it.”

But what would it be like to actually experience it?

To sit in a room, or in an online meeting, and hear your story come out of the mouth of another person?

The ability to identify and relate is incredibly powerful and healing.

Groups are powerful.

After some initial awkwardness and getting-to-know-you, most group members experience a deep sense of acceptance.

Then the real exciting stuff begins. The chance to offer ideas and support. And ask for and receive the same. To learn and practice new skills right then and there.

To leave knowing you are a part of something bigger and greater than yourself or your current problems.

And to know that by sharing your life with others you may be informing and inspiring them.
